Photos for your interest – we are in the process of applying the LAN livery to the RH side of the fuselage. A little easier this way than doing it by hand.                 

I have had some trouble finding the definite correct colour red for the Chilean roundel (flag, La Estrella Solitaria) – it appears to be pantone code 185C.

Se ha contactado a diversas personas entendidas por lo del color, sin lograr una respuesta satisfactoria a la duda del Sr. Volker. Al parecer no existe una referencia precisa de la tonalidad original de los colores rojo y azul de la época del Electra. Corriendo el riesgo de traicionar la historia se podría optar por usar los colores emblemáticos más conocidos y modernos de Lan Chile.
